I guess it will be difficult for me to show you how a pathological liar looks like "from the other side" of your lies. You are deluding yourselves out of real relationships.
They might even want to know the real you (the one you believe needs to be embellished to be interesting) but you never give them the chance.
When you have a relationship with someone (not necessarily a romantic relationship but a friendship or anything else) and you constantly lie to them, they get no chance to see the real you. This is the first lie you tell yourselves. We aren't the deluded ones, we are trying to delude the rest of the world.
